1. Steam pressure

The low steam pressure and pressure fluctuation have a great impact on the capacity of the vacuum pump, so the steam pressure should not be lower than the required working pressure, but the structural design of the vacuum pump used has been finalized, and excessive increase of steam pressure will not increase the air extraction and vacuum degree. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the steam pressure supplied by the boiler is stable. A boiler is specially used to provide working steam to the steam jet pump, so that the steam pressure will not fluctuate and ensure the stable performance of the vacuum pump.

2. Circulating cooling water

If the cooling water supply is insufficient, the condenser will heat up, the air flow sound will become louder, the vacuum degree will drop rapidly, and even the steam will return to the extraction pipe. Condensate plays an important role in multi-stage vacuum pump. Condensate can condense steam fully. The partial pressure of steam in the discharge pressure of vacuum pump must be higher than its corresponding full steam pressure. Therefore, the temperature of condensate must also be lower than the full temperature under this pressure to ensure the normal operation of the pump body.





3. Nozzle

Nozzle is an important part that affects the performance of vacuum pump. The existing problems include: wrong installation, skew installation, blockage, damage, corrosion and leakage of nozzle. No matter what preventive measures are taken, nozzle blockage is inevitable. On the one hand, when installing the steam pipe, the residual iron filings and welding slag in the pipe will block the nozzle; On the other hand, when the vacuum pump system is out of service, the steam pipe is easy to rust, and the rust spots fall and block the nozzle during use.

4. Use environment

The environmental impact mainly refers to the pollution of the pumped gas to the system. In the process of liquid steel disposal, the liquid steel will release a lot of gas, and at the same time, some small particles such as fine oxide scale will be sucked into the vacuum pump. These small particles will accumulate and adhere to the pump body, which reduces the flow conductivity of the extraction pipe, prolongs the extraction time, and reduces the extraction function of the pump.
